There's a good reason, I promise!
Y'all, I've been away--since February. I know, I know, quite a while! I've been head down finishing up my last two quarters here at the GSB. But even more excitingly, I've been hard at work as a part of the amazing founding team of a game-changing new venture firm, Unusual Ventures. I have been so honored to be a part of this team and help build an innovative model that we truly believe to be the future of early stage investing.
I'm so grateful to John Vrionis, the partner I originally started working for during the Fall, for building, with such great intent, a world-class team to rethink the venture capitalist's approach to who can be investors, entrepreneurs, and limited partners. It has been a beautiful journey over the last several months figuring out our perspective and voice as a firm and finally, today, presenting our final product to you. So it is with great pride, excitement and energy that we (John, Jyoti, Angi, Haley, and I) introduce you to our baby... UNUSUAL VENTURES! Keep your eyes peeled, more exciting new to come soon!
